Terms and conditions of service

By accepting our quotation, verbal or written, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions of service:

1. Payment terms

Unless agreed in advance, full payment must be made on completion of the work. Accepted methods of payment are cash or BACS. Commercial clients may be offered credit terms which must be agreed in advance in writing.

2. Cancellation policy

We require a minimum of 48hrs to cancel an appointment. If we do not receive your cancellation in writing at least 48hrs prior to the appointment date, then a charge of 50% of the quoted amount will become due immediately. If your cancellation is received less than 24hrs before appointment date, then a charge of 75% of the quoted amount will be due. Customers who choose to cancel on the day, or turn our operatives away will be charged in full. Any materials costs will be added to your cancellation fee unless the goods can be returned to our supplies for full refund. In such cases, we reserve the right to make an administration charge.

3. Guarantee

As part of our service, we guarantee that the gutters have been cleared of all debris. This guarantee is for 2 months and you can request a copy in writing if you wish. In the event that the gutters are still blocked, we will return to the property within 10 days to clear the blockage free of charge. If the gutters are not blocked then a charge will be made based on our standard rates. Repair work is not guaranteed under any circumstances unless specifically given in writing. We may offer a guarantee on installation and major remedial works, this will be provided in writing on letterhead paper.

4. Our service

When you request a service call by us, you agree to pay the full amount quoted, regardless of the amount of debris in the gutters or the condition upon inspection. A charge is made for our team to visit your property, inspect the guttering system, clear any debris and attend to any defects if repairs are agreed in advance. We are unable to apply any discount based on the amount of debris removed or time spent.

5. Appointment times and access to your property

Wherever possible, we will attempt to estimate the time of our arrival. However, this is an estimate only. We may arrive any time between the hours of 7am – 6pm. You agree to allow access to the property within these hours by way of leaving gates open, arranging with neighbours or any other reasonable manner if you need to leave the property before we arrive. Full charge will be made in accordance with our cancellation fees if you do not make reasonable efforts to allow this. We may offer to re arrange and you agree to re arrange or pay in full.
